Is Speak in Color a Good Fit for Your Teen?
Do they…
• Have big feelings but struggle to talk about them
• Feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck
• Shut down or lash out during hard conversations
• Feel different or isolated from their peers
• Express themselves well through art, music, writing, or creativity
• Seem to want connection, but don’t always know how to start
• Seem like they’d benefit from a space that feels safe, low-pressure, and real
Speak in Color is a creative processing group just for teens. We use art-based activities, storytelling, and hands-on creative projects to explore emotions in ways that don’t feel forced or awkward. No artistic talent needed. Just curiosity and openness.
✨ Below are a few photos from previous groups so you can get a feel for the space and the creative work we do together. ✨

Tiana Michela
Tiana Michela is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at Hope Crest Counseling who has developed a strong passion for alternative and creative therapeutic approaches. Having experienced firsthand how difficult it can sometimes be to put thoughts and emotions into words, she deeply values therapeutic methods that allow people to process in different ways.
Through art, sand tray, video games, board games, and other creative activities, Tiana helps clients explore what is going on in their lives in ways that feel more natural and less pressured than traditional talk therapy. These approaches allow clients to express emotions, understand patterns, and build insight while feeling engaged and supported.
